INTERNAL CAREGIVER / NURSE WANTED FOR 85-YEAR-OLD LADY

We are urgently seeking a lady for 24-hour internal care of an 85-year-old woman with dementia.

The lady is currently in a rehabilitation center in Thessaloniki, following recent hip surgery. The center provides meals and there is collaboration with the medical and nursing staff.

At this stage, we are looking for a person with patience, calmness, and understanding, who will be by her side in her daily life. The main goal is to help restore a stable sleep schedule and daily routine, as well as to encourage her cooperation with the physical therapy and rehabilitation program.

The dementia has worsened in recent months due to recent health issues, hospitalization, and surgery, so previous experience in caring for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s will be particularly appreciated.

After the completion of rehabilitation, care will continue permanently in Grevena. For this purpose, a fully renovated studio has been prepared to meet the needs of both the elderly woman and the caregiver. A private bedroom is provided exclusively for the caregiver, ensuring her personal space and privacy.

Requirements:

* Responsibility, kindness, and patience.
* Experience or references will be considered an important qualification.
* Ability to start immediately.
* Desire for a stable and long-term collaboration.

The family is present, cooperative, and supportive. Our goal is to create a relationship of trust and mutual respect, focusing on the best possible care for the elderly woman and a decent working environment for the caregiver.
