SEARCH FOR FULL-TIME BABYSITTER

A family with three children is seeking a responsible, serious, and reliable individual for full-time collaboration, preferably with studies or experience in the educational field. Job Description: The position involves a five-day work week, from Monday to Friday, during the hours of 09:00 – 18:00, in Heraklion, Attica. The candidate will be responsible for the care and creative engagement of the youngest child in the family, who is 10 months old. Additionally, they will ONLY be responsible for picking up the two older children, aged 5 and 2, from the school bus, which drops them off directly at the home. Important Clarification: No involvement with household chores or cooking is required. The position exclusively concerns the care and engagement of the children. For the initial period of collaboration (2–3 months), the children's grandmother will also be at home, providing guidance and support, contributing to the smooth adjustment of the new collaborator. Duties: Care for the infant (10 months) Creative engagement with age-appropriate activities Pickup of the older children from school Supervision and basic care of the children during their time at home Maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for the children Essential Qualifications: Responsibility and seriousness Love and sensitivity towards children Ability for creative engagement Patience and a positive attitude Previous experience in a similar position (desired) Studies related to education (will be particularly valued) Additional Desired Qualifications & Requirements: Experience in caring for young infants Knowledge of basic principles of child development and creative engagement Ability to manage more than one child Politeness, discretion, and respect for the family's space Consistency in hours and professional behavior Good communication and collaboration with parents Ability for long-term collaboration References from previous employers will be particularly valued Basic knowledge of first aid (will be considered a significant advantage) Non-smoker (desired) For expressions of interest, please contact me.
