Why do I have to provide my phone number while signing up?

Your phone number is used to facilitate communication between members of Nannuka that is, between families and care professionals.

What happens with my phone number?

  • As a Family:
When you send a request to a care professional, your phone number is visible only to that professional if and when they accept your request.
If the request is declined or expires, your contact details are not visible.

  • If you’ve posted a job listing:
Your phone number is only visible to the professionals you choose to communicate with.
All professionals expressing interest have gone through a verification process.

Premium Features

  • Premium Families: your contact info may be visible to professionals who also have Premium profiles.

  • If you don’t want professionals to contact you: you can turn off “Parent Listings” in your Account Settings.

  • As a Care Professional: you can access a family’s contact details only if the family has chosen to share it and if you have a Premium profile yourself.

This setup ensures secure, controlled and respectful communication on the platform.
