My name’s Errika & a few months ago I obtained my degree in the Department of German Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I had the opportunity to do an internship at the Goethe institute and at the first high school of Stavroupoli, observing teachers and teaching elementary and high school children. Although I never imagined myself as a teacher, this experience together with my own wonderful school years, confirmed to me that I get along very well with children and manage to attract their attention with my positive aura. Since a child I was a very creative person with a lot of energy for learning and playing and probably because of these characteristics of mine I quickly receive love from all the children around me. I also grew up with younger siblings and cousins so I know how to get along with kids and create fun activities. Furthermore, I accept every different character, I’m supportive and motivate people to follow their dreams. I don't like to be strict with children, on the contrary I believe that through a positive and creative approach a child will listen more to someone older. Plus safety and reward play an important role. Also, even in the most difficult moments I manage to find solutions without panicking. For me, the childhood/adolescent years are the most pleasant and decisive, so whether I follow the path of teaching foreign languages or something similar, I want to be imprinted in the memories of the children and also of the people around me as a person with a cheerful, well-intentioned and creditable character that shares beautiful moments and knowledge. Finally, I should mention that I am looking for a job, as a German language teacher, or a babysitter, but also in various fields, as I have previous experience and many other interests/skills. E.g. I speak 3 foreign languages, sing, write music, dance, organize events, etc. Feel free to contact me and ask any questions!
