My name is Veronica, I am 25 years old and I am a graduate of Childhood and Youth Studies from the University of Bedfordshire in England. I love children and would very much like to work with a family. My studies are around the sciences of childhood and adolescence (e.g. child psychology, child development, etc.), as well as juvenile protection (knowledge on the legislation on the protection of children and adolescents). During my studies, I volunteered at Family Lives Helpline where I provided emotional and counseling support to children/adolescents and parents. I also have experience in childcare in Greece, and England, I have worked as teaching assistant in a primary school, for children with ADHD and autism in the UK. Recently, I worked as a babysitter in Greece for a preschool child with autism. In my spare time I have been dancing since a very young age and have volunteered in teaching dance to children a few years ago. Finally, I really love my profession and constantly attend educational seminars.
