I am a graduate of the Department of Early Childhood Education and Care at the University of West Attica. I have worked in several day care centres during my studies, as well as in an English day care centre in Barcelona for a period of time. My research has been on the topic of aggression, as I am interested in promoting good behaviour and good cooperation in the early childhood education environment. This article titled "Aggression in kindergarten classrooms. Views of educators on the prevention of the phenomenon", has been published in the scientific publication of the Hellenic Society for Counselling and Guidance". As a child educator, I place great emphasis on organizing activities that are adapted to the age, needs and interests of each child, which include pedagogical, fun and educational parameters. Through these I try to promote the development of children's creativity and imagination. Another important element of the pedagogical methods I apply is the encouragement of ideas through art, perhaps art, play, giving space to expanding thinking, innovation and self-expression. I believe that a childcare environment needs to be interesting, safe and educational.
