How do I get informed about a new request?

When a family sends you a new job request on Nannuka, you’ll receive two notifications so you can respond quickly and appropriately:

1. Email Notification
You’ll get an informative email at the address you provided in your profile with all the details about the job request and information about the parent who sent it. The email also includes options to accept or reject the request.

2. SMS Notification
At the same time, you’ll receive an SMS on your mobile phone notifying you that there’s a new job request waiting for you to check. This helps ensure you don’t miss new opportunities.

Important: You usually have a set period (e.g., 48 hours) to respond, if you don’t reply in time, the request expires and is automatically declined.

Once you accept a request, you’ll be able to see the parent’s contact details and start communicating with them directly.
