This is a live-out position with 9-hour work days, so ideally you have a short commute to Hampstead. We are looking for a nanny to start on 2nd September 2019.
My husband and I have been married for 5 years. We have two children. Our daughter, M who is 1 year old, and our son, E, who is 3 years old. Both of us are professionals working full time.
We are looking for a non-smoker with good judgement and integrity, and who is loving and nurturing and enjoys working with young kids. We expect proficiency either in English or in Greek.
You must keep our youngest daughter M safe, clean and stimulated. We expect you to read to her, take her to the park or to local children's group activities, and to engage in one-on-one play time and educational activities in the house. Our nanny should feel comfortable in the kitchen and prepare fresh, healthy food for her.
Our older son, E, will be attending pre-reception full time. His nursery is within 5 min of walking distance from our flat. We will be dropping him off to nursery but we expect our nanny to collect him at around 3.30 every day.
Our nanny is required to do some light housework (i.e., tidying up to keep toys from taking over the house; loading and unloading the dishwasher; cleaning up the kitchen after cooking), but no mopping, ironing, dusting or hoovering. We will continue to employ our weekly cleaning person for the heavy housework.
HOURS: We need a nanny who can work a bit more than 9 hours a day from 8.40 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday. At the end of every day we would like to speak with our nanny about our kids activities.
PAY: We will pay £3000 gross on a monthly basis. This will cover your income tax, employer/employee NI, and employer/employee pension contribution. We will use nannytax.com to manage payroll.
EXTENDED HOURS: On exceptional circumstances (e.g. business travel or professional emergencies) we will need our nanny to work extended hours. This may mean either an earlier start (i.e. 7am) or later stop (i.e. 7pm). We expect this to occur no more than 1-2 times a month. We do not expect our nanny to join us for any holiday trips.
HOLIDAYS: We will pay you for four weeks of annual leave (pro-rated from your start date for 2019) + the eight bank holidays.
